During your multi-day holiday excursion, you will be accompanied by 2 local Pro licensed fishing guides. Staying at locally owned waterfront accommodations on various islands, we provide 3 meals a day, including snacks and beverages (non-alcoholic) during boat trips and down time.

We take our guests through some of the world's most beautiful and remote islands using Thailand’s many different means of ocean transport.

All anglers are encouraged to bring their own gear but we know air travel with fishing equipment can sometimes be a hassle. Therefore, we offer complete rod and reel combos, plus accessories, including lures, weights, traces, and hooks sourced by local fishing companies. Bait will be provided on all boat and land based fishing excursions.

Upon inquiry, domestic flights from Bangkok or Phuket can be arranged.

Fishing

Engulfed by staggering limestone cliffs, still turquoise water, and buzzing longtail boats, the waters of the Andaman hold a treasure for every fishing enthusiast. Home to many different marine species, including the giant trevally, barramundi, and king mackerel; we take our guests out targeting a variety of fish using lures, bait, and traditional methods.

During your downtime, you will have access to recreational beach activities such as kayaks, snorkels, or the ability to relax and soak in paradise.

    The Andaman islands are home to many different geological features, including mangrove forests, inshore reefs, wrecks, and oceanic islands.

    Conditions

    We must cooperate with the ocean and weather and abide by their rules. Your guides are trained to acknowledge bad weather conditions and rough seas. In case of a weather setback, additional activities will be provided.

    Local longtail boats and kayaks are used to fish the inshore waters while we use larger boats, such as speed boats, to fish the offshore waters.

  • Species

    We believe targeting a single sport species contributes to the overfishing that already exists throughout these waters. Instead, our voyage focuses on catching an array of species throughout different marine environments.

As you navigate your way through the Andaman islands, you will travel by all kinds of local and private means of transport.

Fishing Equipment

Due to this being a multi species fishing trip, anglers will be fishing in many different marine environments. We provide the essential fishing equipment to tackle all terrain and fish size, including rod and reel combo of all sizes, weights, various lures, and traces.

We also encourage all of our anglers to bring their lucky lures and terminal tackle.

    When the conditions are just right, casting lures proves to be a productive and fun way to target bigger fish. We have a variety of lures for those who are interested in jigging, surface popping, or casting stick baits and soft plastics.

    If anglers are not satisfied with our lure selection, they are able to purchase lures from local tackle shops for a reasonable price.

    Terminal Tackle

    We use barbless hooks on all of our lures and hooks to ensure minimal damage to all fish. As well as heavy leader lines so we do not leave behind any lures or hooks in the reefs.

    You will be issued a mix of well known and locally owned equipment upon arrival. If anglers have any special requests, please specify in inquiry. (We do not offer fly rods.)

    Bait

    Live bait will be caught by you and your guides at the start of every boat trip. In case of bait shortage or poor conditions, local fishermen will provide your guides with fresh prawns and squid.

  • Due to weather conditions and for the safety of you and your guides, Peeling Drag Fishing expeditions operate from January 1st to June 1st.

  • To help our staff assist you in getting the proper medical assistance in the case of an emergency, upon inquiry, we kindly ask future guests to fill out our medical questionnaire stating underlying illnesses, allergies, disability, or impairment.

    Tour insurance is also included with the tour package. In the unlikely case of sickness or injury, our traveling guides are trained in first aid safety and can assist before seeking greater medical attention.

  • Our licensed professional fishing guides have a vast knowledge of the surrounding waters. Who better to join you on your fishing expedition than fishermen who call these waters home. Our guides will be with you every step of the way, helping you chase the fish of your dreams.

  • Tour prices and payment methods will be listed upon inquiry, along with a full tour itinerary.

    All tours must be booked at least 2 months prior to the set tour date.

    Once deposit is received, guests have a 30-day period in which cancellation results in a 50% refund of deposit. Canceling after 30-days results in the guest's deposit becoming unredeemable.

    A deposit will be made upon reservation of 50% of the proposed tour price. 14 days before guests’ departure, they will be responsible for paying the remaining 50% of the proposed tour price. Any failed payments results in tour cancellation and unredeemable deposit.
